Life drawing class. Made these.
Someone very close to me worked on this. It is showing on the SyFy channel at 10pm on Oct 4th. It’s a gory monster flick, but it’s better than most SyFy flicks. Here’s the trailer. Be warned of some blood and behold, DARK HAUL.
I made some randomly generated characters. I got an inuit dwarf witch, a post-apocalyptic demon paladin, an alien cyber punk spy, and a futuristic vampiric mechanic. There were a lot more traits generated for them but these are the important ones. Same series as the pirate fairy, but that one I decided to color.
This is such a strange request. I’m very flattered but a little confused. I guess it’s alright, I don’t know copyright law well enough but I think that should be fine. You obviously can’t sell your skin, though that would be a very Nightvale thing to do. If you do go through with it, can I get a picture?
Some character design practice. I was at one point working on a monster that comes through a child’s window, an insect ruler, a guy who worked in a convenience store, and a little cat detective supposed to be done in the “CATDOG” cartoon style.
http://mostlikelywriting.tumblr.com/ drew me a picture. I think? At least she drew a picture and showed it to me and then I offered to color it. So yeah, drawing is her, inking and coloring mine.
I got bored and made a giant character generator. 7 different categories with at least 17 options each (some have more), including fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural, modern, and historical possibilities… which means that characters can get ridiculous really fast (like flamethrower-wielding, Feudal Japanese cyborg priestess with a pet unicorn). Have fun with what you get or try a few times if you want a serious character.
If you do make a character with this, tag ‘characterdesigninspiration’ so I can see them!
I got a fairy with body builder body type, archer class but a machine gun weapon (so I made it a repeating cross bow as a compromise), pirate clothing style, a griffon companion (I’m pretending her ship has a griffon as it’s symbol, like that tattooed on her arm) and the extra was a forked tongue. I think it came out relatively bad ass.
Trying to make a portfolio piece. Any thoughts on how to make this better or is it good? Also practicing a new type of shading, a sort of mix between cell shading and gradient.
